Second Semester Enrolment, SY 2009 – 2010

Second Semester enrolment settled at 8,966 students comprising all Colleges in the undergraduate program, the Graduate School, as well as in the Primary level. There was a slight decrease of 636 students compared to last semester’s 9,602. Enrolment also in the External Studies Centers totaled to about 7,000.

 

Aldaw Ta Kitanglad Celebration

The University participated during 13th Aldaw Ta Kitanglad Celebration last November 10-12, 2009. It is a yearly celebration to show respect and acknowledge the participation of indigenous communities surrounding Mt. Kitanglad Range National Park in the aspect of protection and development. BSU is one of the various agencies who serve as a partner in maintaining, protecting and preserving the Mt. Kitanglad Natural Range Park.

   

FM Radio Station Inaugurated

The University launched its own FM radio station, DXBU, on November 6, 2009 primarily to support its development communication program. DXBU will be used to disseminate development information relevant to and supportive of BSU’s vision, mission, and objectives. It will also serve as a laboratory for future development broadcasters and electronics technologists. Tune in to 104.5 for some updates!
